Drawn by artist Wayne Gibson (aka Rasta Wayne-O) in his primitive, almost-outsider-art style. If you’re familiar with the newave comix scene of the early to mid ’80s then you probably remember Wayne’s Sorcerer Studio work from such places as Penguins in Bondage, Penguin Summer, Seattle Star, etc.

This new one collects full-page portraits of reggae artists Desmond Dekker, Frankie Paul, Christafari, Sly & Robbie, Ziggy Marley, Michael Rose, Israel, Vibration, Susan Codagan, Andrew Bassie Campbell, Yami Bolo, Gregory Isaacs and Matisyahu.

There’s also another page full of smaller portraits including King David, Denton “Screechie” Lowe, David “Jahvid” Gooden, Steve Tulloch, Jolly Stewart, Organs, Trevor “Birdie” Brown, Tennant, Singer Mikey, Ray Rochester, Donald Jackson and “Squidly” Cole.
