I received a pack of minicomix and ephemera from Adam Yeater, and it’s just a great little set of work. In addition to some neat stickers, here’s what he made:

Blood Desert (4.25 x 5.5” minicomic, 8 pages) – From his Blood Desert theme, here’s a traditional sized minicomic risograph printed. This is a gallery of characters.

Blood Desert – Troll (5×7.5” manga-size comic, 28 b&w pages, 4 color pages) – Here’s one of Adam’s professionally printed Blood Desert comics. He uses a printing technique from Manga as he starts off the comic in color and then switches to black and white interior. This one-shot short story surprised me since I was expecting a gory post-apocalyptic spaghetti western – this made me laugh. It’s a sort of wink and a nod to Adam’s love for comics.

CD Case Comix – Adam created a comic he packaged and sealed inside a cardboard CD case. Of course I opened it and read it, and I won’t give it away here. Collectors –  you’ll not know the contents of this gem from me. All I’ll say is that it’s really good, and I hope you devalue your copy and read it like I did.

Microbes – (1×1” micro-minicomic, 16 pages, riso) – I love tiny comix. This one is from Adam’s fascination with tiny organisms. There are some great microscopic monsters in here.
